Jen Rivers, ASW

I work with clients surrounding identity formation, whether that's regarding sexuality, gender identity, gender expression, or identity away from trauma, depression and anxiety. My goal is to support you as you explore your true, authentic self.

Since you are the architect of your life, your lived experience is the most valuable tool that we have as we begin to identify the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that no longer serve the true, authentic you. I'm a trauma informed clinician, and I use multiple frameworks, such as psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, somatic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral informed therapy, and internal family systems (IFS).

I received my Master's degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. I have been working as a private practice clinician since 2021. Prior, I was working in LGBTQIA+ policy and community organizing.
